PDX Commons is a 55+ cohousing community located in the bustling Belmont-Sunnyside Neighborhood of Portland OR just steps from coffee shops, restaurants, and a food cart pod. *While COVID-19 has restricted our use of some of the community indoor spaces for now, we  have found ways to socialize with each other and our families while practicing safety precautions. For the time being, sit-down community dinners in the Great Room have been replaced by “takeout” meals prepared by our cook teams. Our outdoor spaces accommodate multiple households, properly spaced, meeting for conversation, happy hours and sharing meals. We meet and conduct business by Zoom. Small groups exercise on the rooftop. We sing and dance from our walkways. And we wave instead of hug.
